48 Stunden Neukölln Violaine Toth Ceramic Studio

Violaine Toth is a Berlin-based queer and French ceramic artist. She often collaborates with local concept stores and galleries, creates her own out-of-this-world pottery collections, and teaches at her studio. She also works with tattoo artists, illustrators, cabinet makers, photographers, painters, musicians, etc. as part of her constant discoveries.

Every year during the month of June, artists and studios residing in the district of Neukölln open their doors to the public during a 48 hours weekend called 48 Stunden Neukölln. As part of this cultural event, Violaine asked me to design her 2022 poster.

Inspiration : Violaine’s own ceramic pieces, her tattoos and her love for black clay

In her work, Violaine experiments with various ornamental handles around her vases - inspired by the cosmic and botanical forms that surround her. She has recently launched a new collection based on aliens and strange creatures.
